Do I have to download any software to use Tailwind?

No.  Tailwind is build to leverage the power of the internet so you can access it from anywhere.  There are no installations, upgrades, or system compatibility issues to be bothered with.
 

Is my client's data safe?

Yes.  Tailwind has implemented security safeguards and data backup procedures.  Tailwind uses 256-bit encryption to protect your Clients data.  (128-bit encryption is used for older web-browsers that cannot support 256-bit.)

 

Who can see my client's data?

Only you and your Client can see your client's data.
 

How is my User ID and Password chosen?

Your User ID is the email address supplied when you originally signed up to use Tailwind.  All users (advisors and clients) must set their passwords the first time they log in. For security purposes, Tailwind requires a strong password for both the advisor and client.  A strong password must be at least 7 characters long and have at least one capital letter and one lower-case letter. If you forget your password, you can set a new password by going to the login page and clicking the "Forgot Your Password" link.
